This webinar will explore the American Law Institute’s (“ALI”) recent adoption of the Restatement of Law – Liability Insurance during its May 21, 2018, Annual Conference. The ALI holds this document out as a summary of the law on liability insurance throughout the country. However, it adopted many policyholder friendly rules from a minority of jurisdictions that conflict with many long-standing insurance principles in Pennsylvania.
