President & CEO Robert Brandon to retire in July 2026, Senior Vice President of Insurance Operations John Foster to become president and CEO and join the board of directors. Randal Mancini named Senior Vice President of Insurance Operations.
Joe Sloan Retires as CFO, VP, Sec., and Treas. of Mutual Benefit Group
Joe Sloan of Huntingdon retired from his position as Chief Financial Officer, VP, Sec., and Treas. with Mutual Benefit Group on December 31, 2025, after 42 years of service.
Charles A. Michael, Sr. Passes
We are saddened to announce the passing of Charles A. Michael Sr. on Thursday 11/20/25. Arch joined Lititz Mutual in March of 1964. He was promoted to Property Underwriter Supervisor in 1972 and named Underwriting Manger (Vice President) in August of 1976. Arch retired as VP of Underwriting in 2010.
Arch was a recognized and well respected professional throughout the mutual insurance industry. In addition to his leadership for Lititz Mutual, he was involved with and provided oversight for many insurance organizations such as MIB, DEVCO and several reinsurance pools. He was fondly remembered for his calming diplomacy and sense of humor.
We share our sympathy and condolences with Mike and the Michael family, remembering Arch.
