AdvocacyPAMIC serves as the premier advocate for the insurance industry, providing members with: Accurate, Timely, and Relevant Information: Access to key regulatory and statutory details via our website and updates on legislative issues through the Bill Information page. Direct Engagement with Legislators and Regulators: We have a partnership with Greenlee Partners, LLC, in Harrisburg, PA who serves as our legislative eyes and ears so we can remain in the forefront of issues affecting you. We also join forces with industry organizations on legislative agendas, drafting of legislation and regulations, creation of issue papers, and participation in amicus curiae briefs. Connections with Officials and Policymakers: Organizing meetings at member offices with their elected officials, sponsoring Mutual Insurance Day every Spring, and encouraging participation in the legislative process through the Grassroots Champion program. Management of a Political Action Committee (PAC): Supporting elected officials, including judicial candidates, who understand the industry's needs and hosting PAC events throughout the year. Through these efforts, PAMIC ensures that members are well-informed, represented, and connected within the legislative and regulatory landscape.
