Webinar ID: 208-791-463

The TCJA contains substantial changes to the international taxation principles currently in effect, bringing the US closer to a territorial-based regime and curtailing the ability to defer tax on foreign source income. Insurers need to pay particular attention to these provisions if they are part of a global organization having inter-company charges and ceded reinsurance transactions. Be sure to join us on June 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. for this informative webinar!

This educational webinar covers the international tax provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that implement:

  1. A more territorial based tax system such as the 100% dividend exemption and the one-time repatriation tax.
  2. An anti-base erosion concept such as CFC updates, the BEAT tax, GILTI.

Lastly, throughout the presentation, we will highlight parts of existing tax law that still apply and need to be considered.
