Strategies to Improve Your Workplace at the Human Resources Seminar

"#MeToo and You: Preventing and Dealing with Sexual Harassment in Your Workplace" & "Family and Medical Leave Act: Handling Tough Issues"

The Human Resources Seminar will feature two presentations from Catherine. First, she will explore the legal framework for preventing harassment, as well as recognizing and addressing harassment to minimize liability. Attendees will learn about the EEOC’s updated approach to creating respectful workplaces and new approaches to providing training for your workforce.

In her second session, Walters will cover the Family and Medical Leave Act. This program will discuss how to navigate some tough issues encountered by PAMIC employers, such as intermittent leave, the interplay among the FMLA, Americans with Disabilities Act and Workers’ Compensation Law, employee fraud and knowing when and how to seek additional medical certifications.
