Harrisburg welcomes another informative Market Regulation Seminar!

This year's seminar includes an excellent lineup of presenters featuring Christopher Knight, Esq., Hawke, McKeon & Sniscak, LLP covering the topic of "Do Acts 68 and 205 Apply to Umbrella Policy Cancellations? The PA Insurance Commissioner’s Recent Decisions Leave the Industry Puzzled." In 2016 three Commissioner decisions issued have created even more uncertainty about the rules that apply to umbrella and excess liability policy cancellations. An attorney involved one of the recent appeals will discuss the status and ongoing discussions with the Department about this issue.

The seminar will also feature Chris Monahan, Deputy Commissioner for Market Regulation, PA Department of Insurance and Terry Keating, Esq., President and CEO, Insurance Regulatory and Litigation Consulting Services covering "Strategies and Options for Resolving Market Conduct Exams." The market conduct process can be intimidating and this session provides an inside look on the options companies have when resolving their market conduct exams.

This seminar has been submitted for 5 Continuing Education credits.
