This presentation will draw parallels between the NAIC Risk Focused Financial Examination (NRFFE) process and COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). It will provide a high level comparison of these two frameworks. The focus will be leveraging your risk management processes to support the Insurance Department’s risk focused examination.
This presentation will cover some of the key components and processes that are essential for both ERM and the NRFFE. These include the development of risk matrices including such key components as a common risk language.
