The committees function to assist the PAMIC staff with providing top quality educational programs and the most current information about industry affairs. Claims Committee
The Claims Committee provides quality educational seminars, forums on claims questions, and researches and disseminates relevant claims-related information to PAMIC members.
Convention Committee
The Convention Committee assists the PAMIC Director of Educational Programs in planning the Annual Convention, including speaker selection, location, and participation by other state trade associations.
Education Committee
The Education Committee maintains and enhances the quality and profitability of PAMIC educational activities. They promote the visibility of, and attendance at, all PAMIC educational activities. This committee coordinates all PAMIC educational activities to assure full coverage of all relevant topics and to reduce any unnecessary duplication of topics.
Financial Management Committee
The Financial Management Committee plans and produces quality educational seminars and, in coordination with the Education Committee, provides roundtables and other forums on financial management, accounting, financial reporting, tax, and investment functions of company operations. The committee also serves as a resource for financial management questions and alert the association to emerging issues in financial management.
Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee closely monitors insurance, legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments and assesses their impact on PAMIC membership and responds appropriately to the issues. The committee assists in development and maintenance of government affairs communications programs with members and fosters and promotes direct member communication with legislators and regulators.
Human Resources Committee
The Human Resources Committee educates members on human resource issues, problems and solutions
through seminars, roundtables, and forums designed to enhance professional knowledge.
Information Systems Committee
The Information Systems Committee provides educational support and fosters exchange of information, ideas, and emerging issues relating to information systems technology and methodology as applicable to the insurance industry.
Underwriting & Loss Prevention Committee
The Underwriting & Loss Prevention Committee helps provide quality educational seminars, roundtables, and forums designed to enhance professional skills in underwriting, loss control and related fields. They research and disseminate emerging underwriting/loss control techniques, issues, and problems.
